Hugo Lloris – 2/10: More mistakes. Get rid.
Serge Aurier – 2/10: More mistakes. Get rid.
Japhet Tanganga – 5/10: Love the way he took out Dayot Upamecano at the end. The only shot thrown in anger from a team which looked used to losing.

Eric Dier – 4/10: Not hating the centre-back experiment, but it was a defeated attempt at a clearance for Leipzig’s third goal.
Toby Alderweireld – 4/10: Nothing horrible from the Belgian but he has lost the aura which may have dragged us through games like this before.
Ryan Sessegnon – 3/10: Too timid in both directions. Lots to learn and yet still looks less like making mistakes than his senior colleagues.

Harry Winks – 4/10: Meh.
Giovani Lo Celso – 6/10: Tried to look forward when he could but had very little going for him in front of him. A few nice runs and touches.
Erik Lamela – 5/10: Ran his socks off to be fair, mostly into trouble when he had the ball.

Lucas Moura – 4/10: Ran his socks off to be fair, mostly into trouble when he had the ball.
Dele Alli – 4/10: Gave the ball away an awful lot. A player who thrives on risk playing in a team who don’t take many risks; on a hiding to nothing.
Gedson Fernandes – N/a: Jose’s first sub on 80 minutes.
Malachi Fagan-Walcott – N/a: Happy Birthday for tomorrow kid.

Be honest we all expected that to happen. If you are told we need a striker and don’t buy one or even loan one do you really expect anything else. Funny thing is strikers we are told were all to expensive but what cost loosing tonight and not making CL next year.
