Jamie Redknapp caused a stir on Tottenham twitter when he claimed that Giovani Lo Celso was not as good on the ball as West Ham’s midfielders.
Speaking in his role as a Sky Sports pundit before tonight’s London derby, Redknapp questioned the balance of Tottenham’s midfield which he said was outmatched on the ball by West Ham’s trio of Rice, Noble and Soucek.
Here is Redknapp’s odd take on Lo Celso in particular…
🗣 "Lo Celso, Dele Alli & Sissoko are not great on the ball"

These Spurs fans on Twitter were quickly on Redknapp’s back and wondered if our former midfielder had ever seen our current one play.

Well-documented big fan of Redknapp Jr but the implication that Noble is in ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM better than Lo Celso is, quite frankly, utter madness.

Jamie Redknapp thinks Lo Celso isn't as good at playing football as Soucek and Rice. Has he ever seen Lo Celso or na?

Keane is the Andy Kaufman of punditry. If you agreed with him, he’d probably disagree, punch you and chin your nan.
Would be good if fans could do a “Pundit Rating”.
A rating of “5” would flatter Jamie C and Jamie R every time..!
Roy Keane would probably see how low a score he could get for the fun of it
Arry. Tell your son to shut up. He’s making a fool of himself again.
