Last week, Sky Sports reported that Tanguy Ndombele was considering his Tottenham future after learning of interest from Barcelona.

Well it seems after a few days of long, hard thinking that the Frenchman has made his decision; he wants to prove himself at Spurs.
According to The Telegraph, Ndombele is determined not to leave the Premier League as a big-money flop after a hugely disappointing first season upon arriving from Lyon, albeit complicated by injury, a change of manager and entering a team that has completely lost its identity.
The Telegraph also understands that Daniel Levy would have been very resistant to selling the midfielder who represents a significant investment which Spurs would be unlikely to recoup amid the Covid-19 chaos.
A motivated and fit Ndombele could be a major weapon for Jose Mourinho when football resumes. We’ve seen what magic he can conjure in flashes but to prove himself, he must perform over 30 matches, not 30 minutes.
After a long debate with himself and his agent,N’Dombele has decided to remain at Spurs and not join Barca (highly unlikely anyway) because he wouldn’t get anywhere near the money he is on currently.
In his present situation thanks to the length of his contract and Levy’s wonderful negotiating skills he is made for life thank you very much.
