Giovani Lo Celso didn’t have a bad game against Uruguay, it’s just that he wasn’t quite as heroic as phrases such as ‘two assists’ and ‘was heavily involved’ might suggest. And this is from me, someone who actually quite likes the guy. Truth be told, Argentina’s opponents weren’t all that, and our boy was one of many in the mix when it came to despatching them.
What I would like to see is a commitment from Lo Celso and Tottenham, to get the lad having a nice long run in the side. Right now, he’s just another disjointed element, opposed to a reason to be truly cheerful.
He’s fit and playing now.
He’s often on the bench with the likes of Dele, Ndom, and Winks chosen in front of him.. He’s been used on the right wing where he’s not great. I would like to see him have a run of games in the middle.. If he can’t get fit or manage 1 game then yes get rid, but I’m not sure that is the case.. He plays well for Argentina, in the middle.
Long run in the side? Lols… anyone know the last time he was fit enough to complete 1 EPL game? He should be sold in the next transfer window…either that or SFO contacted…. if you’ve been at a club for several years, earning millions of pounds & cant regularly play 1 game/week you shouldnt be there….

Totally agree, I’ve always rated Gio and the disruption at the club, the management changes etc have not served him well. It probably hasn’t served Tangy well either, although Geo seems more fit for purpose and able to withstand the demands, if given a run.
He’s a different player in that shirt, maybe we could let him wear it for our games? Just replace the badge!
He definitely needs a long run in the side, ideally in the middle where he looks most comfortable.. He has to improve his stats and up his game though, 2 odd goals and assists every 30 games is underwhelming… I would be playing the kids in the conference league and finding the best firsts for the prem.. So far it’s a mix mash of everything.. I guess Lo Celso, Dele and Ndom are all fighting for that cam position.
