The midfielder is another area where Tottenham Hotspur would like to see an upgrade this summer. Last January, the north London club added Rodrigo Bentancur to accompany Pierre-Emile Højbjerg.
One of the players constantly linked to reinforce the midfield since the arrival of Managing Director of Football Fabio Paratici is Juventus’ Weston McKennie. The club chief brought over the American during his time with the Serie A side, and perhaps a reunion might occur.
During a Q&A session, Football.London’s Alasdair Gold spoke about the possibility of McKennie heading to north London since Spurs inquired with his representatives about him during the January transfer window.
“I know Paratici spoke to McKennie’s representatives about a future move in January. If the USA international is available this summer then I would expect Spurs to test the water as he would tick a lot of boxes for the squad,” Gold said.
It will be interesting to see if Paratici brings another player from Juventus that he believes highly in after reuniting with Bentancur and forward Dejan Kulusevski. These two moves helped them finish in the top four.
Perhaps Paratici is prepared to go to the Juventus well and add the 23-year-old this summer.

John McGinn is a better bet..end of..
🤣
The list of teams who’ve won more than us in the last 6 years is longer than Levy’s nose while filling in his tax return.
He’s the American Harry Winks.
You obviously work for the club…
‘Matched’ who? 😂
I don’t understand the cheating bit. Have City etc been stripped of their titles?
We’ve won less than Leicester and the Goons in the last 6 years let alone the four quoted above. Delusional.
Great response to this nonsense. The teams used as examples all won the top pots available to them recently. Getting to a CL final is a trophy now? We’re moving in the right direction again, but until this team wins anything it’s all in vain.
Please define how we ‘matched’ any of the above? They have all won stuff.
Conte needs midfielders that can attack and defend. Box to box types. McKinnie fits this profile. I like him, but he’s never played in a physical league like the prem. He gets dinged up a lot, and has a bit of a temper. Not sure how that will work in Engerland.
I genuinely hope this has no traction.
