Tottenham were denied a half-time lead in tonight’s London derby with West Ham United by the margin of Son Heung-min’s big toe.

The South Korean thought that he had broken 45 minutes of boring deadlock with a typically clinical finish after lovely footwork from Giovani Lo Celso, but the VAR officials ruled it out for a very slight offside.

Lo Celso’s nimble dribble and Son’s rocket into the bottom corner were the only real moments of quality in a first half which ended goalless.
