Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen is kidding himself if he thinks he is good enough to play for Real Madrid.
That was the consensus of Sky Sports pundits Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Graeme Souness and Roy Keane, after they had watched another impressively invisible display from our once great Dane in Sunday’s 2-1 defeat to Liverpool.
Neville and Keane added that Eriksen is still likely to get a big move in January or next summer but only because he’s available on the cheap.
For those Spurs fans who are sick of Eriksen no-showing, this nearly four-minute clip of him being put in his place is rather therapeutic.
“Eriksen for me is a really good player for Tottenham, but he keeps getting talked about like he could play for Real Madrid. He’s not good enough.”@Carra23, @GNev2, Keane and Souness give their opinion on the Christian Eriksen conundrum.
