Report – Italian giants preparing a €15m raid on Tottenham

By Bruce Grove -

AC Milan has made Serge Aurier a summer target in their bid to solve their right-back problems.

The Italians will look to build on the fine end of the season that they enjoyed under Stefani Pioli, and they will back him to fix their problem spots on his team.

Sky Italia via MilanNews claims that Aurier is the player that they have identified to become their latest right-back and have valued him at €15m.

The Ivorian has had a mixed time in north London. On occasions, he has been good enough to justify his position in the team, but for the most part, he has looked like an accident waiting to happen.

He is one of the players that Spurs would probably accept an offer for if the right one comes along and this might be his last season with them.

Jose Mourinho is expected to strengthen his team this summer ahead of an important season that needs to earn them a trophy.

Knowing who Daniel Levy is, he will want a fair bit more than the €15m that Milan-News reckon AC Milan are looking to pay..

However, if the Ivorian’s sale will fund the transfer of an upgrade, then this deal might just go through.

Mark my words, this transfer will be the single biggest improvement to the team we will make all summer!

Taxi for Auriier – no hang on, I’ll drive him to the airport myself!

If there is any truth in this rumour they must be aware of his failings.perhaps they have a specific role for him, that requires no defending in the penalty area and no crossing the ball.
Whatever, the quicker he is gone the better, although in true Levy style he probably values him at circa 60M.

Can’t believe they’d be that stupid. There’s a lot of dodgy stuff coming out of Italy at the moment, I suspect this is just more of the same.

Conclude any Aurier deal quickly before they discover his immediate deficiencies!!
