“Miss you” Alli and Aurier exchange messages on Instagram

By Bruce Grove -

Dele Alli has revealed that he misses former Tottenham teammate, Serge Aurier.

Both players may have become close to each other when they struggled to become first-team regulars.

They were both sidelined by Tottenham’s last two managers and Aurier’s deal was terminated at the start of this season.

The Ivorian now plays for Villarreal while Alli is still struggling to break back inside the Spurs team.

Alli seems distracted. If you follow his Instagram account, you could easily think the Englishman is now a model and not a footballer.

He posted a snap on the page recently, and Aurier commented “Brody” with a love emoji.

Alli responded to the comment with “miss you” with his own love emoji.

The Boy Hotspur Says

Alli looks like a very distracted player and it is sad to see him struggle as he is doing now.

The former MK Dons man proved to be one of the best signings at Spurs in the last decade when he first joined the club.

However, he has most likely reached the peak of his career already.

Alli could thrive at a smaller club, but his time at Spurs has been nothing but disastrous in the last two seasons.

There has been a shortage of clubs willing to take him on from Spurs in recent weeks.

It would be interesting to see if that changes when the transfer window reopens.

If Spurs gets a suitable loan offer in the second half of this season, it would be best to allow him to leave. Perhaps he would return to form at another club.

Lol.. He’s thinking damn that’s my place gone… Raul Albiol and Torres play centre back for them.. Aurier is their first choice at right back now demoting Foyth..

Against the likes of Burnley and Colchester. He couldn’t score against Zagreb though. For the money Bale was on he was a huge flop. It took him nearly 5 months to get fit too… We could have had two or three players performing better for a million worth of wages a month… Bale the busted flush has already won it all though, and produced it in the big games, opposed to Dele who has flopped in his finals and declined mid career.

Alli seems tone deaf – clearly couldn’t give a rats ar** about playing football properly.

Juan Foyth is probably thinking “ that’s our defensive record out the window then”…

Dele is similar to Gareth Bale, in that he wants his wages from football to pursue his interests outside of football. With Bale it’s golf, with Dele it’s as a social media influencer.

Both should be reminded that they’d have neither of these if it weren’t from football and unless they buckle down they should or could have their respective contracts terminated for non fulfilment.

Someone should trash Dele’s electrical goods, all of them.
