Inter Milan signed one of Tottenham’s most important players, Christian Eriksen in the last transfer window and it seems that the Italians want to repeat the same trick again.
A new report from the print edition of Corriere Dello Sport via Sempre Inter claims that Antonio Conte’s men are looking to sign struggling Tottenham midfielder, Tanguy Ndombele.
The Frenchman joined Spurs last summer, but he has struggled for form and consistency in his first season in England.
Jose Mourinho has been heavily critical of the midfielder, and the report claims that he has zero chemistry with the Portuguese manager.
The report further claims that Inter Milan’s first-choice midfield signing this summer is Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante, but the Frenchman seems out of their reach and they have turned their attention towards Ndombele.
Corriere Dello Sport added that the Italians are willing to offer Milan Skriniar or Marcelo Brozovic as a sweetener in the move.
Ndombele has struggled to impress Mourinho this season, but the club has maintained that he is not for sale.
With the summer transfer window approaching, it is unclear if the “Special one” would trust the Frenchman for another season or look to sell him and bring in a midfielder that can deliver what he wants.
Personally I cannot see this happening but if it did I would not be that surprised. Ndomebele does have a look of a signing that is destined to have failed.
That said, I would love it if things did work out next season because Ndombele is a huge talent. This one will run and run all summer long.

I trust Mourinho to get him into shape. We can’t afford to have £200,000 a week sitting on the bench.
We NEED to get ndom fit&happy. him and celly would/will be dangerous next season
Run and run all Summer! I wish. Ndombele won’t even run for 5 minutes without blowing out of his trumpet.
