“He’s a boy ain’t he” “He’s such a tease” These Fans Get Triggered By A Spurs Player’s Agent

By The Boy -

Jonathan Barnett has told ESPN that his client’s remarks in the recent Wales press conference were taken completely out of context.

I keep rereading Bale’s words and am still struggling to identify what there is about “I always think when things aren’t going too well at a club, It’s nice to get away, especially mentally get away from the club environment. Definitely.”

This can only be read one way, that like at Hotspur Way is mentally torturous, as it also was at Real Madrid for the lad when he failed to pull his weight there too!

Presumably the 31-year-old is seeking to suggest that Mourinho is somehow making his life intolerable. This is quite a coincidence – as that is exactly what we were supposed to think of Zinedine Zidane.

6-months down the road and fans are being fed the same line again, as Bale slopes off once again, looking for sympathy.

These fans aren’t impressed.

What is the goon on about.. Bale said his plan was to play with us for a year, get matches under his belt for the euros, and go back to Madrid! Nothing is taken out of context.

If you cut through the noise and looked at what he has done since returning and were asked is he worth the money and would it be better spent elsewhere next season. If you also removed the fact that his name is Gareth Bale I think the answer would be we don’t need him

Whatever you think of Bale it’s a sad way for a stellar career to peter out.

His two compadres, Messi and Ronaldo who are years older are still competing at a high level. Bale seems to have let that Madrid contract become a priority at the expense of his football career.

Should’ve just kept his gob shut, after the underwhelming first half of the season he’s given us. By all means, use the break to refocus, reflect, or whatever the hell it is you mean, but stop inflaming an already toxic situation with idiotic statements that your agent then has to firefight.

I would trust Barnett as far as I could throw him. Not long ago, it was “Gareth is one of the best players in the world, and these players don’t go out on loan.” The quotes from Bale are totally ignorant at best, much like his past IG shenanigans.

Some fans on FB think Bale’s using the quotes to put pressure on Madrid and make them lower their demands to let him come back here for another season, so they don’t have to shell out 600K/pwk for a player who’s likely never going to feature for them again.

How exactly would that work, I don’t know. RM want to get rid of him at all costs anyway.
