Video Evidence: Skipp Was Solid Despite Aidy Boothroyd’s Involvement

Oliver Skipp turned in another solid performance last night, this time for England’s U21s. Having watched some of this game, my biggest concern would be the tactical setup, opposed to the players themselves.

Skipp was moved about a fair bit, playing DMF, LCMF, and RCMF before the game was over.

This game frequently looked like it was wishing someone would organize the chaos. The U21 gaffer was criticized by a number of fans, and the Burnley Express even pointed out that Boothroyd had played one Clarets’ player – Dwight McNeil- wildly out of position.

I think Boothroyd has shown again he is out of his depth at International level.

As seen in the senior match last night we have a terrific array of talent coming through, look at Bellingham.I fear that once again when our sides meet decent opposition Southgate and Boothroyd are found wanting.

Will this be another lost golden generation>
