Jose Mourinho has insisted that Jan Vertonghen is ready and available for selection for Friday’s big return match against Manchester United.
The visit of the Red Devils could be one of the 33-year-old’s final matches for Spurs as he is yet to agree a contract extension beyond June 30.
Mourinho was clear that both parties want to see out the season together, and that the Belgian will retain his trust until his final day with the club.
