One piece of news that may delight the Spurs fans this week is the fact that Ivan Perisic will not be moving to North London as he looks to join Bayern Munich permanently, according to a report from CaclioMercato.
Spurs have been linked with a move for the Croatian this summer (Football London) after he impressed on loan at Bayern Munich from Inter Milan.
He has been a long-term target of Jose Mourinho as the Portuguese manager wanted him too when he managed Manchester United.
However, being over the age of 30 and having no Premier League experience signing for Spurs never made that much sense and it should be a relief that he has decided to stay with Bayern Munich.

CalcioMercato further reported that Bayern has passed the deadline to make his loan deal permanent, but that is hardly a problem there because the player and Inter Milan have agreed that he can join the Germans.
He doesn’t feature in Antonio Conte’s plan for next season and Bayern is now looking to negotiate a subsidised fee for him.
Spurs have been linked with several players ahead of the next transfer window as Jose Mourinho looks to end the club’s trophy drought.
A new winger might be a welcome addition to this Tottenham side, however, Perisic is past his best and the club should be focussing on younger talent rather than setting itself up as some sort of retirement home for older players.
Brian, I’m unconvinced you’ve realised that this blog is the work of numerous authors.
any of you lot use a android box?
ha ha ,i love it he went there and done ever so well ,makes Aurier look like a rock.
I just read You win some, you Luiz some.
Him and Poch.
Two really good results for us I feel.Watching the highlights was bad though, no crowd at the Villa game made it sound like a training session.
In my opinion, Spurs don’t have any “huge flops” at least none that could be identified by a negative hack. Aurier is not a superstar, but he is a competent journeyman who regularly contributes. It seems that a lot of wannabee hacks think that denegrating our players is smart. It’s not. Sounds like Aurier has replaced Sissoko as your “whipping boy”.
