Video: “You’ve got to turn up” – Gary Neville comments on the absence of Harry Kane from training sessions

By Eddie Razo -

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane continues to be absent from training as the 28-year-old ponders about his future with the London-based club. Kane has made it clear that he wants UEFA Champions League football this season.

With the England international set on competing at the highest level of competition, pundit Gary Neville believes that Kane and chairman Daniel Levy are on a collision course during an interview with Sky Sports (via The Daily Mail).

Furthermore, Neville understands Kane’s point of view but stated that the striker should be at Tottenham’s training sessions out of respect for his teammates and the club.

“You’ve got to turn up, and you’ve got to do your job. However, I’ve worked with Harry, and I can’t think of a more professional footballer that I’ve ever seen,” Neville said. “He does everything right, so he must be seriously annoyed. Something has happened badly that has made him do that.”

“It still doesn’t excuse it for me. He should still have come into training, and you respect your teammates. You still have to go and stand with them and sit in the dressing-room, but it’s clear now that there’s a collision course.”

I’m not sure that it is true, otherwise they would surely have said by now? Despite my sympathy for Kane I do feel he should turn up and train, the fact that Levy is total c*nt isn’t his teammates fault, and neither should it mean he needs to lower himself to looking unprofessional in the eyes of the world.

I can’t see Levy letting him go unless the figure is right, he won’t care if it ruins our season. Had he ever cared about any football related in the last 22 years? Not especially…

Levy has clearly been lying to a lot of people ahead of the stadium move and for a while after. Just to squeeze the last bit of use he can get out of them, Kane feels used and slightly soiled from trusting the bald one, he and his family are livid with the way they’ve been strung along.

Personally I see us really struggling again this season, if Kane leaves then any replacement will take time to settle. That goes for all the players we bring in, we also have the underperforming ones already st the club. I wish Nuno well but I’m struggling to see us any higher than 8th this season. Possibly lower…

It baffles me as to why we haven’t heard anything official from HK or the club.
There are articles that say that he is in isolation after holidaying in the Caribbean and this will last 5 days?
If true why not say so?

I don’t really care about the whole saga TBH seems like it will drag on for another 27 days.

Our club is being turned into a reality show!!

Does anybody really care what GN thinks? I know I don’t. Harry Kane has more class in one boot that GN has in his entire frame.

Since no official word came from Spurs and Team Harry chose not to comment publicly. Everyone including Kane knows what the returning protocol is. So why the silent while kane gets drag through the mud. Seem like amateurs leading Kane interest to me if that is the case. Or Levy is easy target for the angry base.

Lots of pronouncements there, for example describing his behaviour as ‘appalling’, despite having nothing more than rumour to go on.

Reading the comments below it seems the majority are still choosing to be manipulated and distracted by MSM, the PR arm of the oft referred to below, devil/satan/evil genie and the psychopathic and parasitic minions who act out the charade..

I get and totally understand HK wants to try pastures new for team success, however his plan of action is ill advised and completey disrespectful to our club.

He is England captain with World cup in 16 months, a role model to kids around the world.

Levy holds all the cards, I’m not his greatest fan, but no player is bigger than any football club.

The more HK going MIA the more he looks like the villian (which I never thought I would ever say)

There was something put up on instagram mocking HK which Sonny liked.

However how this is played out HK must return to training.

Kane has every right to demand he leaves the club

Spurs have every right to get the money they think he is worth

Sheringham, Berbatov, Carrick(all MU), Modric, Bale (both RM), Walker(MC), Eriksen(IM). All showed their desire to leave via “performance”. None were THFC juniors but Kane is and so his behaviour is more appalling. If he does stay he will do an Eriksen going by this and never get out of 2nd gear. dropping his price on the way.

I really can’t stand Neville, but I guess he has a point. The best quote this morning on Levy has come from Harry Redknapp: “You’re dealing with a very cold, calculated man when it comes to business,” “Daniel doesn’t do emotions. He doesn’t do feelings. I know what he’s like.” Sounds like he’s describing the Terminator. 😂

… but Levy is tougher to strike a bargain with than the devil apparently. Twists things more than an evil genie even 😉

I’m sure that bloke with the glasses and colourful shirts said Lo Celso had turned up on Monday so it must be H.
And a word to the wise if you are reading this HK Don’t let your advisers put out this “Gentleman’s Agreement” tripe to the press if you want people on board just say last Summer you made a verbal agreement with Satan to let you leave this Summer.

No it isnt a valid excuse. The club has been doing covid tests for all returning players

Hey Eduardo, do you think it is credible that Kane has a valid ‘covid self isolation’ excuse for his absence from training… or is this all smoke and mirrors?
