The future of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane remains up in the air. Nonetheless, whether the 27-year-old remains or departs this summer, the London-based club could use some help up in the attack.
According to El Desmarque, the arrival of Nuno Espírito Santo as the new Tottenham manager presents a new club that could be expressing interest in Valencia CF forward Gonçalo Guedes.
The Spanish media outlet adds that Valencia needs to sell needs €20 million, and Guedes is one of the most intriguing options as a potential sale could cover the club’s debt.
Guedes has experience playing at another of the positions in the attack, but his preference is at left-wing. The 24-year-old has made 96 of his 136 appearances for Valencia as a left-winger since arriving in 2018.
During his time with the Spanish club, Guedes has scored 23 goals while registering 24 assists. This production has put the Portuguese international’s transfer value at €25-million, per Transfermarkt.
Valencia hopes that Santo will pull the trigger and bring Guedes to England this summer.
Bergy has only Just got here. His dog work is excellent (very very clean in the tackle too. He’s gonna improve. Good squad player. I wouldn’t sell him. Lucas as you must know is a threat when he does his work in the middle. Nuno will use him there I reckon. Nuff duds to shift before him. Have a good day man
I do not know him, but will look at his highlights. That said we seem pretty jammed on the left side. Son, Sess Requilon going forward. I hate inverted wingers but I could see that kind of production fitting and move, dexterous with the feet, Son to the right. Say good bye to Moura or Bergwjin.
