Nearly half of Tottenham fans would not accept the sale of Harry Kane regardless of the price, according to the results of a Twitter poll.
Just shy of 2,000 supporters answered the poll set by Nathan Clark, a football analyst specialising in all things Spurs, especially the need for Daniel Levy to buy a midfielder. If you know, you know. Nathan is worth a follow if you can stomach the statistical language of modern football.
A report in the Daily Mail over the weekend claimed that Levy would be prepared to sanction the sale of the 26-year-old for world-record fee of £200m, but even that wouldn’t be enough for 47% of a good sample size.

I would accept Harry Kane leaving for

I would imagine most of these 926 votes are a protest over Levy’s leadership and not an ignorant idea that Kane is worth some sort of infinite amount.
A further 43% would insist on a figure of at least £100m to let the striker go.
You can see where my vote went. If we sell, we cannot expect upwards of £150m considering the Covid-19 crisis and Kane’s recent injury record.
