The Tottenham Hotspur manager has answered fans’ prayers by limiting his rotation for this afternoon’s visit of in-form Sheffield United.

Poch’s lineup includes summer signings Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso starting a Premier League game together in midfield for the first time.

While Pochettino has extended his run of not naming an unchanged side to 94 matches, he has made fewer changes than expected to the team which beat Red Star Belgrade 4-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Eric Dier has been retained after an impressive display partnering Davinson Sanchez at centre-back while Christian Eriksen remains on the bench.

Ben Davies is one player I’m happy to be recalled, and Serge Aurier is also back at the expense of Juan Foyth, but you can’t win ’em all.
