Referees love giving Manchester United penalties – they have had 16 this season and that doesn’t include the ones overturned by VAR.
23 – Since the start of last season, Manchester United have been awarded 23 penalties in the Premier League – nine more than any other team. Spot. #TOTMUN pic.twitter.com/tn1P0JTFpo

Jonathan Moss pointed to the spot twice in favour of the Red Devils in tonight’s 1-1 draw the first one was dubious and the second was farcical.
Bruno Fernandes jumps into Eric Dier like a flopping salmon, in the knowledge that any contact will be enough for Moss to get trigger happy.
Thankfully VAR was on hand to overrule this nonsense.
This fetish among all referees has to stop. It’s obscene.

As a Spurs fan AND a referee, the first one is a nailed on penalty, nothing dubious about it at all. Dier simply got schooled by Pogba on that one.
Totally agree. There was no call for the second decision at all. Rashford tried a dive in
the first half too. An obvious tactic all season, luckily VAR was on hand.
