Any of the usual feelings of frustration towards the team news were always going to be outweighed this evening by the excitement of having Tottenham Hotspur Football Club back in our lives; good, bad or indifferent.
This is how Jose Mourinho has lined us up to face Manchester United:

And sure, there is some disappointment that Giovani Lo Celso is not fit enough to start, and that in his absence Tanguy Ndombele 2.0 hasn’t been unleashed on the Premier League, leaving us with the dreaded midfield double pivot of Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko.
What was I saying about excitement again?
But, but, BUT…
Kane, Son, Bergwijn, Lamela. Jose is going for it. Manchester United are coming to town and we are going to take them on punch for punch.
Elsewhere, Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez start in defence ahead of Toby Alderweireld, Harvey White is on the bench but Juan Foyth and Lucas Moura are not. One can only assume the Brazilian is injured.
