Simon Jordan Puts Media To Shame For Coverage Of Dele Alli Burglary | Video

Dele Alli has found an unlikely ally in former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan who has slammed the media for their coverage of the Tottenham midfielder’s burglary.

Speaking to Jim White on talkSPORT, Jordan called out Sky Sports in particular for the inhuman and opportunist way that they reacted to the ordeal that Dele and his family suffered last week, describing it as “horrible, nasty gutter reporting.”

I think he’s spot on here and so do a lot of other Spurs fans.

There is enough public interest to justify reporting on this story, as we have done on The Boy Hotspur, but the tone has been shameful in a lot of cases.

Stopped listening when they blindly back the players over the wage issue and failed to acknowledge what the fans can see “what football has become” with all the greed not just right now.

He’s a young man who earns a lot of money. I’d say buying expensive watches is a pretty responsible way to spend it.
