Tottenham Hotspur wants to improve their forward group to increase their goal-scoring. The north London club has been linked to various forwards over the past few months. The latest report suggests that Managing Director of Football Fabio Paratici wants to reunite with a former player.
According to Corriere della Sera (via Spurs Web), manager Antonio Conte is keen on signing Paulo Dybala for Tottenham this month if he does not extend his contract with Juventus.
The Argentine forward can sign a pre-contract for next season since his deal expires in June. The Italian media outlet claims Dybala’s fate with the Serie A side now hangs in the balance, with talks over a new contract currently at a halt.
Should Dybala not agree to a contract extension with Dybala, Tottenham is waiting in the wings alongside Inter Milan, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid to sign the 28-year-old.
There’s no doubt that Dybala has the talent, so he would be coveted if he departed. Nonetheless, the forward does have some injury concerns as he’s missed nine games so far this season.
What a line up that would have been with son and moura/eriksen playing behind him and damiao.
Damiao was really a prolific striker on FM
Carrick or Berbatov
Levy has become less attract..
Didn’t see this post ..
Given the Inter, Barca and Athletico are interested unless we offer him 300g a week and a 5 year contract..no chance..what’s the treatment room for …Argentinians.
They’re getting their own back for the Falklands I reckon.
These Argentinians don’t half miss some matches. I couldn’t handle another after Lamela, Romero and Lo Celso.
he can play in behind Leonardo Damiao when we sign him
Inter,Barca & AM you say
Our jam will be full of Levy sized pips.
N
VanDerVaart, and that only happened because he was injury prone and Real wanted him off their wage bill, or partly anyway.
The mileage Levy’s PR team got out of that deal lasted years.‘shrewd’ they said, ‘master negotiator’ they said. Well we know different now don’t we, penny pinching all the way to this point in our most recent decline as a football team. Pleased that the penny has finally dropped with (almost) all the fans.
Those damned image rights! Scuppered the deal they did, honest guv!! 😂
I wish we’d stop embarrassing ourselves going for players who are actually never going to come to us because we don’t have champions league football to offer, we don’t pay big wages and oh yeah, we win F all! I don’t wanna see anymore of these click bait articles, honestly when was the last time we signed a ready made top player?
Perhaps his image rights have become less attractive!
Jam tomorrow, even better, free jam tomorrow!
Three years after Poch wanted him, rather than back his manager at the time, Levy tries to get him on a free now. Typical.
