According to Daily Record, Ligue 1 giants PSG are interested in signing Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris.
It is widely known that Tottenham are looking to offload the French goalkeeper this summer.
Tottenham have already secured a replacement for Lloris in the form of Italian goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario who they signed from Empoli for just £16m..
The report claims that Hugo Lloris’ representatives are hoping that the club will allow him to leave on a free as a good gesture after the Frenchman’s 11 years with them.
However, it is added that Daniel Levy plans on seeking a transfer fee for him from PSG and will not allow him to leave on a free.
PSG are not the only club keen on signing him. Inter Milan are strongly linked with a move for Lloris as well and as per Foot Mercato, they have ‘accelerated’ their pursuit of him and ‘talks have started’ between the two clubs.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan are reportedly set to lose their star keeper Andre Onana to Manchester United this summer with De Telegraaf reporting that the Red Devils have made huge strides in their pursuit of the shot stopper and are close to agreeing a €55m fee for him.
The 36-year-old has been a loyal servant to Tottenham throughout his career, but his age and a season marked by several high-profile mistakes leading to goals have prompted the club to consider cashing in on him.
A move away from Spurs might provide Lloris with the opportunity to rediscover his form. However, it remains to be seen whether Daniel Levy allows him to leave on a free as a good gesture or plays tough and demands a fee for him.
