“Pure filth” “Hoddle would be proud” So many fans in awe of magic Ndombele pass – video

By The Boy -

That was an exceptional 22-minute cameo performance from Tanguy Ndombele last night – one we’ll tuck into fully across the day. The tone was set early on as we were treated to a very happy warm-up routine from the Frenchman. Clearly something has changed. Something that could benefit Tottenham hugely this season and onwards.

Yes, it was only Wycombe Wanderers, but the 24-year-old’s confidence levels were not only through the roof, but Tanguy was moving with far greater ease than we’ve witnessed to date. The ball into Kane was sublime, and eventually led to Harry Winks’ goal.

I agree with those comments.Bale was breezing past players but was delivering awful final balls. I wonder if it’s just a case of ‘Getting his eye in’ as they say, and it would not surprise me at all if he got the nod against Liverpool, as i feel they are vulnerable and going for them would be the way to go. I really hope Jose doesn’t make them sit back and try and counter, it could be a long night !!!

Think he might feature from the bench against Liverpool.

The strong running Bergwijn will start I’m pretty sure,

I know he was only on the pitch for 22 minutes, but in that time he showed more than enough to have got MOTM in my opinion.
I was a fierce critic the longer he went on appearing to not be bothered to heed the warnings. But I think with Sissoko’s help amongst others he has really proved a lot of us wrong.Bale could take a leaf out of his book.
Actually I was coating off Bale last night and didn’t think he would appear in the second half until he scored, and then for perhaps 15 minutes.
He was so off with his final ball whether it was a pass or a shot. However when Kane,Son and N’Dom came on I felt he raised his game then as if he felt these are the players to lift my performance. These are guys I should be playing with.
Any chance a surprise start against Liverpool?

More than just playing well you now see that Son and Kane trust him 100% now and actively look to link with him at any opportunity – we haven’t had that sort of link up play with a midfielder since the best of Eriksen and/or Alli.

This is a massive thing and bodes very well. Who eventually slots into that other attacking position will be intriguing – probably Bergwijn or a new signing but it could be Bale, Lamela or even Lo Celso.

The more i see of this boy the more i like it. If he adds movement closer to opponents goals and also chips in a few goals, he will really take off. he seems to have that knack of being able to go past players with ease.. Long may it continue..
