Pundit reckons that Jose Mourinho’s criticism is unfair

By Bruce Grove -

Paul Robinson has told Sky Sports that Jose Mourinho gets a lot of criticism and some of it is unfair.

The special one has had a job in the Premier League on and off since 2004 when he first arrived on these shores from FC Porto.

He was brought in by Chelsea initially and he has also managed the Blues in another separate spell as well as Manchester United before becoming the manager of Tottenham.

The Portuguese manager is arguably one of the most criticised managers in the world and the critics are always waiting for him to give them something to talk about.

Robinson reckons that he does get probably too much stick and that the former Chelsea boss is seen as an easy target by critics.

“There is a lot of optimism and belief around Tottenham, at the moment,” Robinson told Sky Sports. As quoted by HITC.

“I think the way the chairman has backed the manager in this window has been fantastic to see.

“Spurs have made no secret about the difficult financial climate that everybody is living in, at the moment, and the way that they have struggled. But yet again Daniel Levy has backed the manager.

“Jose Mourinho was brought in for a reason. There was a bit of unrest. He quite often gets a lot of unfair press and he’s an easy target at times, especially with Spurs. But you look now at what they have done. The results they have had in recent weeks and the signings they have made.

“As I said Jose has been an easy target for a lot of criticism.”

Mourinho is one of the most successful managers in the Premier League at the moment and he will hope to prove that by winning a major trophy with Tottenham this season.

Poch in his last window was given 150 mil worth of players….. Maureen has only spent 60 million… Also players were sold like KWP so in fact he has had even less money than that… Considering all the players we got its been a fantastic window.. Obviously the Maureen effect. It’s not like Levy has given him a warchest… Liverpool and city and chelsea spend more than 60 mil on single players.
