Neville names three players that could help Man Utd land Kane

By Bruce Grove -

Gary Neville has named three players that Manchester United can offer to Tottenham plus cash in exchange for Harry Kane.

Kane has been linked with a move away from Tottenham this summer after he asked the club to allow him to leave.

He has been loyal to them all his career but hasn’t been able to win team trophies.

The Lilywhites don’t want to sell, but they might consider his years of loyalty and grant him his wish to leave.

The financial problems that the coronavirus pandemic has forced on several teams mean that only a few of them can afford him.

Manchester United and Manchester City are two teams who have been considered candidates for his signature.

Neville believes he would leave and if he is to join United, the Red Devils will need to offer some players in exchange.

He names those that could be involved in a recent interview.

The 46-year-old told Sky Sports via Sun Sports: “It’s difficult.

“City don’t tend to break their budget, do they? [Their record is] £65m-£70m – they’re not going to get him for that.

“So it’s whether they could get a player to Tottenham that would makeweight the deal.

“And I think that’s what United maybe have in Martial, James and Lingard.

“They’re types of players you could send [to Spurs] plus a chunk of money and it might make Daniel Levy happy.”

How about Wan Bissaka,Shaw and Fernandes + 80M,that would actually strengthen in areas we need it.What Neville is suggesting is offloading their failures. Why would we?

With the 80M plus sales money we could get two quality CBs and a proper striker, not a Carlos Kickabout.

I have an intense dislike for this kind of deal, and if Levy accepts this or something similar it fully exposes how he sees the club, it’s humiliating imo.

How this pans out will ultimately confirm the perceived magnitude of Levy’s ambition and desire to get back to securing those lucrative CL spots as quickly as possible.
Our highest performer and most marketable player in exchange for some cash and players that can’t consistently perform for a direct rival is never going to placate the supporters.

He’s lost the supporters, some of the players by the sound of things, and now even his closest media mouthpieces are turning on Levy.
Will he go all in, or cash out?

Adding three inconsistent attacking midfielders to our batallion of inconsistent attacking midfielders in exchange for our most prized striker. Hmmm. Something doesn’t quite add up…or does it?

New Home Kit launched today. “Is Nice” to quote Borat, but I’m noticing Sonny and not Harry is the main player being used….

Neville can feck off with that idea. Lingard possibly but Martial is too inconsistent and James can’t hold down a permanent place in the starting 11. Even if all of that were a goer I’d still want at least 70 – 80 mill plus these players, but if and when Kane does go I really hope it’s only to Citeh or a foreign club. Chelsea and Yannited can go feck themselves, wouldn’t be giving them a sniff of a chance of getting our most prized asset.
