Latest Tanguy Ndombele transfer news could be a game-changer

By Bruce Grove -

One of the most unsettled players in the current Spurs team is Tanguy Ndombele.

The Frenchman only joined Spurs in the summer from Olympique Lyon, but he hasn’t had the kind of first season that he or the club expected.

Spurs beat competition from top teams to sign him, however, he remains one player that has failed to impress and his lack of application, as perceived by Jose Mourinho, has seen him feature less often for the club.

Since news of him being unsettled at the club got out, a number of top European sides have been looking to sign him this summer.

Le10Sports claims that Bayern Munich is the latest team looking to sign the former Lyon man this summer.

The Germans have been able to land some of the best players in Europe without signing them permanently, and they would look to explore that method with Spurs.

The report claims that the Germans are looking at taking Ndombele on loan for a season, just like they have done with James Rodriguez and Philippe Coutinho in the past.

This new proposal might be a game-changing one, especially for Ndombele. The prospect of playing for one of the best teams in world football with real propsects of both domestic and European success may be just too much for the midfielder to ignore.

‘Spurs beat top competition to sign him’ were the first lies reporting about this disaster of a signing. As if Man united, Juve and PSG wanted him.. If any top team (like what was reported at the time) wanted him then Levy would have folded immediately. Like when he offered the saints a measly fee for Mane. Liverpool came in with an opening 30mil bid and Levy folded. Our beloved chairmen would never go into a bidding war with a top team…. No top team operates without a sporting director. Steve Hitchen is to blame for poor scouting, and Levy is to blame for paying so much for his fee and wages… Levy needs a sporting director because he is unfit for the job.
