Latest Dele Alli transfer news makes it clear the position of Tottenham

By Bruce Grove -

One of the names that will be touted all day long by the media, especially the tabloids, is that of Dele Alli and a potential move to Paris St Germain.

Well, according to both Jim White on Talksport and Get France Football News, Alli is very unlikely to be going anywhere today.

White states that Daniel Levy has turned down PSG loan offers on at least three separate occasions, whereas Get France Football News is reporting that a deal will only be done if Spurs find a replacement for the 24-year-old.

Considering that Alli never plays I am not too sure why a replacement is required but there you go.

This means that unless there are some dramatic last-minute developments then Alli is stuck at Tottenham for at least the next six months.

Hopefully, he will settle down and sort himself out and maybe turn his game around in the same way that Tanguy Ndombele has, but I will not hold my breath on that.

You will be subjected to a load of Alli nonsense today, I would suggest that you ignore it unless it comes from a very reliable source.

No.
Just been watching highlights of Championship matches. There are stacks of good players at Norwich, Swansea, Brentford and Reading much better than lots who played last night at Brighton.
Mourinho has disgracefully mismanaged Dele, and led to a valuable club asset being rendered redundant and worthless. The manager has realistically to work with what he’s got if the reality is that he can’t simply buy a new team.JM just seems to discard anyone who is hard work for him to manage. Manage means get the best from your assets.

Dele is obviously surplus to requirements so I see no point in keeping him. How much more could we get for him in the Summer than this window? We should have got rid of him, Rose and all the other deadwood last Summer. Football should sometimes take priority over business. Levy is quite happy blowing £500m more than estimated on a stadium, but it pains him losing £20m on a player that is not wanted by its manager.

He’d need to be really bad to be worse than Bale.

I’ve been told by no one special that Levy didn’t even realise there was a transfer window this January….this could be the summer City come in big guns for Kane if they dont win the CL…

Could Dele be any worse than what we saw against Brighton?
