Jurgen Klinsmann thinks that Tottenham can win the Premier League title under the management of Jose Mourinho.
The Lilywhites have started this campaign with a very fine run of form that has seen them go unbeaten since the opening day of the league season when they were beaten by Everton 1-0 at home.
Their form has been helped by the attacking combination of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, but Klinsmann thinks that Mourinho will be the key influence if they win the title.
Mourinho is one of the most renowned managers in the world as he has won the Premier League on three occasions and he has also won titles in several countries including Italy, Spain and Portugal.
The main reason why Tottenham has made him their manager is that they want to start winning trophies and Klinsmann claims that it might happen with him in charge.
Former Spurs striker Klinsmann told ESPN FC: “Yeah [they’re challengers] and I think rightfully so.
“They’re dreaming about finally maybe getting to that point of winning this amazing trophy. I think it’s a logical path.
“I think over the past couple of weeks, months, we see something is growing stronger and stronger. Obviously Jose Mourinho has a strong hand in this whole development and he’s a competitor.
“He will give everything he has to make that dream come true, so it’s exciting times for Spurs fans and I keep all my fingers crossed.”
