Journalist For The Athletic Has Heard From Industry Insiders “I think he would be open to a transfer”

By The Boy -

Harry Kane would be open to a move from Tottenham in order to win trophies. That’s the line from The Athletic’s David Ornstein understands and this is also- for those of you that were paying attention to what this place shared with you a month ago, in an ITK report that suggested that both Harry and Sonny were both very open to summer exits from Tottenham. A source close to the club also told me that Sonny has been declining to extend his current deal – since before Mourinho was appointed.

Now, we have another connected writer who feels that Kane is also primed to exit N17. Yesterday there was a piece by David Hytner in The Guardian bemoaning the radio silence from Harry Kane on his situation at Spurs.

The reality is, our England (and not Tottenham captain, David) is never going to mention in casual conversation that he’s had enough of us until the decision is made.

Nobody can deny that H has been supremely loyal and supremely patient, beyond what you’d expect from a Spurs player ladled with enic’s lack of ambition and lack of support even in his role until very recently. You can tell that H loves Spurs like it’s his family, but with an evil stepfather overseeing his chances of winning a trophy, the lad is just going to have to go to a “normal” club, run by “normal” owners and with “normal” ambition. Breaks my heart to see him go, unfortunately Levy doesn’t have such a organ, it was replaced by a money making machine at birth.

Much like when Bale left the first time, and Teddy before him, if he goes and wins a bunch of silverware then I’ll be the first person to say fair play to him.

He probably already stayed longer than most respectable winners would have.

Can’t blame the guy, should have moved on 2 years back, like us, he was lied to.

The problem for Kane and Son if they both want to leave is Levy will demand top dollar and as things are in the world, who will pay it?
Otherwise, to get their wish, they would need to do a berbatov, modric, bale and refuse to play. However, i doubt this would ever happen as they don’t have it in their nature for this kind of attitude.

Absolutely, James.

He has to move to win trophies, no alternative. But Levy would demand £100-150 mil. leaving probably just City and United, with no certainly either would be interested in the present climate.

Serves us bloody right if Harry leaves. Why spill your guts and push your body to the limits when you’re surrounded by a bunch of grifters.

I would doubt his desire to win if he wasn’t at least considering a move away, given the ongoing shambles of the last two or three years.

Hope he stays and there is significant squad change in the summer, but not holding my breath.
