Jose Wants Ndombele To Face Norwich City [Video]

By Joe Fish -

Jose Mourinho is hopeful that Tanguy Ndombele will declare himself fit for Tottenham’s Premier League clash with Norwich City on Saturday.

The French midfielder was a surprising omission from the squad which beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 on Boxing Day, with Mourinho later telling BBC Sport that the 22-year-old had told him he did not feel ready to play.

It seemed to be a veiled dig at Ndombele but Mourinho has said the player was just being “honest” about his condition having struggled with a persistent hamstring injury since his arrival from Lyon in the summer.

The Spurs boss did however suggest that he would be keen to have Ndombele available to cover the loss of Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko in midfield, both of whom are suspended for the trip to Carrow Road.

He has been nursing injuries so we are yet to see the best of him.. He is really quick for a central midfielder.. And he has never been fat or overweight since we bought him…… He was 18 stone at guingamp when he was 17 yrs old about 3 years ago….. Overweight then, but not now he is lean.

Moutinho is a seasoned vet… Remember villa boas wanted moutinho, david villa and hulk.. They were his 3 main targets also oscar, willian and dameo, back when bale, modric and van der vaart was sold… Levy got him lamela chiriches chadli and eriksen… Villa boas was fuming accused him of broken promises… I bet poch was stitched up in similar fashion.. He wanted dybala and coutinho and got 3 or 4 young cripples instead 😆

Another player who passed us by constantly linked to Mountinho in the past we failed to secure this talented player (food for thought!) who for him seemingly made the correct decision in rejecting Spurs and joining Wolves.

Given that my glass is always 50% full or 50% empty our next 2 fixtures are both winnable and losable in equal measure. The team under the radar likely snatching 4th spot are Wolves going places under a good manager currently playing high intensity fluid football and have a player in Traore skinning defenders with ease. Next up for them is a testing away trip against unstoppable Liverpool who we face on the 11th Jan when if it’s anything like the woeful Chelski defeat it could be another painful watch seeing us dismantled by an all conquering team!

Strange how players like Moutinho just slot into the PL and start playing well but our players need 1 and half seasons and keep getting injured…

Two winnable games coming up but a squad as thin as Levy’s hair line…

It seems I am not the only one unconvinced about the constant calls by the agenda led media for the beatification of Sterling.Yes he has quite a few goals this season but most are laid on a plate for him by the abundance of really good players around him.I can’t believe Pep let him retake the penalty and also that de Bruyner didn’t take it.
He struggles to beat a man one on one and his decision making still leaves a lot to be desired.Plus he is selfish particularly playing for England with Kane.
No doubt he is a front runner for SPOTY presumably more for his unstinting anti racism stance.

Rahim Sterling was encapsulated in that opening penalty last night. Missed the pen, got off the hook with nonsense VAR….then missed again with an even worse pen, only for the save to land right at his feet with an open net in front of him as he goes off and laps up the glory. Stirling in a nutshell.

I’ve only seen him in action once. That was against Bournemouth and I thought he looked talented and creative but overweight and slow. I think he came off after about an hour. It’s halfway through the season now, has he played 90 mins for us yet?
