Jose Mourinho wants Tottenham to bring in five players when the transfer window opens, reports 90mins.
When it comes to Mourinho and the transfer market you would think that he wants a bunch of world-class players based on his record, however, that is not the case this time around.
According to 90mins, Mourinho is content for any new signings to be either loan players or free agents but sadly for the Portuguese there is a mixture of good news and bad news in regards to his request.
90mins claims that the former Man Utd manager will not be getting five players, that is the bad news.
The good news is that the club regard signing three players this summer as a success.

The bottom line, if this report is accurate, is that there will be a maximum of three new players coming in, which is not at all bad when you consider the financial impact the club has suffered due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The players that have been mentioned in the report are Philippe Coutinho, Ryan Fraser, Willian and Thiago Silva. There was a fifth one in Thomas Meunier, however, he is set to sign for Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund.
Of the remaining four players on the list, the one that stands out for me is Coutinho. If Mourinho manages to bring the Brazilian on board that would be a coup.
But regardless, it does appear that there will be some incomings this summer.
They are blocking me now for no reason so i cant reply sorry
I would be starting toby and jan.. Dier, sanchez… In that order. But if jan wants out then i would get silva in. We cant afford young world class like matt de ligt anyway…………. (what on earth is wrong about this mate?)
Gallas was a rock.. Silva would be our best centre back straight away. Only a year or three left in him, but if we want trophies quick then he is quality.. Other positions need more attention but i think silva would be a slight upgrade on jan for quality. I would keep jan though ideally. If he wants out then go for silva…. A younger world class CB like matt de ligt we can’t afford anyway…. I dont believe jans legs are gone, i think he just needs to play at centre back…. Personally right now i would be playing toby and jan at the back. Then dier. Then sanchez… Toby and jan have a great partnership too they are solid together.
Good cheese and fine wine, brilliant. I know what you mean, Gallas was very good for us in the latter years of his career. However, is Silva a more viable alternative to Jan?
I dont mind old centre backs. Its the position they run the least so them and goalies can go on longer than other positions.. Like a good cheese or fine wine, some improve with age… Experience.. Brad friedel in recent memory for me he was in his 40s and was still great for us.
Coutinho and Meunier we need the most. And Silva is a beast. Not really needed but still quality despite his age, i would take him if we could.. Willians apparently not the player he was. Frazer isn’t good enough. We dont need wingers both sides, we need full backs…… Worryingly not a striker mentioned in those 5.. If we sign willian and frazer before a striker then somethings very wrong.
We need perspective. We signed 3 last Summer, two of which were ‘ones for the future’. This bunch has one stand out name, so what are the chances of that happening? There are some oldies in there, maybe we could get a ‘Seven Seas’ sponsorship deal. With the problems with CV-19 we might be forced to buy non football players.
