Tottenham’s players are said to be shocked and disappointed with Jose Mourinho for holding a public fitness session.
That is according to John Cross in The Mirror who seems to have little to no understanding of what modern footballers care about.
Mourinho and several players including Tanguy Ndombele, Davinson Sanchez and Ryan Sessegnon were caught breaking government guidelines over Covid-19 by training on Hadley Common in Barnet.
VIDEO: Spurs Players Obviously Think They’re Exempt From Social Distancing
Cross reckons that Spurs players understand Mourinho’s good intentions but are worried the club has set a bad example to fans by ignoring social distancing rules at a time when footballers need to be role models.
As if they would really be bothered by something so trivial. Most of them are too busy playing Fortnite to have noticed what Jose was up to.
Mourinho made a mistake and apologised. Cross is milking this story when, in reality, all is said and done. No surprise really, from an Arsenal fan.
Nobody plays Fortnite anymore, My 12yr old tells me.
Make Him Captain.
