Joachim Andersen’s Agents Meet With Tottenham Next Week

By The Boy -

BT’s Danish transfer podcast believes that Joachim Andersen is looking to bail from Championship bound Fulham and talks begin next week with his representatives and Spurs.

Before the Happy Shopper champagne corks start popping, it is suggested that Manchester United are also interested, and they may not be the only side. Additionally, the lad could well stay with Scott Parker if he can keep them up.

I take a view that if Joachim Andersen is the answer to our centre-back woes, then we will need to see some class of boost in the boy’s performances.

That said, fans that are unconcerned by using picking players from lesser sides will tell you that these players will benefit from being transported to a team of greater talent. The only problem I have with that is that our defense isn’t packed with great talent. In which case, will we be relying upon the magic fairy dust that is woven into the threads of the Lilywhite?

Better than the two liabilities we have by a huge distance. Always impressed me when i’ve seen him for Fulham.

I struggle to think that a team suddenly sorts its defence out with someone who struggles to get in the Denmark team and a youngster who has played a handful of PL games. Our best partnerships have been with experienced tried and trusted centre backs – Jan and Toby being the classic recent example. Top teams do not have 2 relatively untested centre backs

HH is there any truth that JM has been told he won’t be with us next season? If so, a younger coach could well improve this guy to top level imo. Looked Vertonghen esq in the games I’ve seen him and could be a great buy.

25 I read but we need another who is a natural left footed. We also need to get rid of dier, Sanchez and Toby.

Who does the manager want? With ENIC and Hitchen it doesn’t matter.

Looked very good the few times I’ve seen him. Would do for me alongside Rodon and proven in Premier League, unlike some more expensive imports.

Another mainly right footed player and like you say of decent quality but not top top quality. Is he better than what we have well maybe but not by a lot.
