Joe Rodon has picked Gareth Bale over Harry Kane when choosing the best player he has played with.
Both Tottenham’s stars are quality players in their own right and have been one of the reasons Spurs remain in line to win a trophy this season.
Bale was the first player to break through at the club before he left them for Real Madrid in 2013.
Kane has maintained his level of performance and he is the best goalscorer that the club has had in decades.
Rodon only joined Spurs this season, but he has been national teammates with Bale for a lot longer.
Both Welshmen were questioned in a Q&A session on the Tottenham Twitch channel and Rodon was asked which of them was the best player he has played with.
The former Swansea man says Kane is up there with the best, but Bale edges the Englishman in this debate.
“Harry Kane… nah I’m joking. Harry is up there, but I’m going to go with this man sitting next to me [Gareth]. I promise it’s true,” he said.
Kane and Bale combined well as Tottenham scored 4 goals against Crystal Palace the last time. Fans will want to see more of that.
😆 The Welsh factor has come into play there. Around a quarter of my blood happens to be from Wales.. Bale is like the grand master Jedi, been there and done it all. But Kane is in his prime now. Exciting times with these two linking up.
