“He’s always won” – Inter Milan defender has high praise for Antonio Conte

By Eddie Razo -

When Tottenham Hotspur decided to sack Nuno Espírito Santo and hire Antonio Conte, the north London club brought in a proven winner to head the project. The Italian tactician has won the Premier League and Serie A, so they hired a manager who has been to the mountain top.

Inter Milan defender Stefan de Vrij spoke to DAZN (via Football Italia), where he had high praise for Conte to let Tottenham and the club’s supporters know what type of manager they have at the helm.

“Simone Inzaghi and Conte are two important coaches because they’ve won,” De Vrij said. “I had already worked with Inzaghi at Lazio; Conte has had a great career because he’s always won.”

“We won the title under Conte, and you can see it now. Inzaghi has been working on a solid base and is doing an important season now.”

Since the arrival of Conte, there have been reports of de Vrij possibly going to Tottenham. Still, the rumor was turned down by Italian football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio (via The Express), who stated that the 29-year-old isn’t on Spurs radar.

The Premier League side wants younger talent to their project around, which explains the reason for their summer purchases. All the players they added are 26 and younger, with some barely tapping into their potential, which they hope Conte can get out of them.

Conte had just joined and was an employee of Levy. 15m per year makes the memory fade somewhat. Don’t be a mug, Len. Levy had the SL in mind and thought he didn’t need to invest in either a decent manager or players. Had to rapidly find his Plan B when he was exposed as a mug – again – in anything football-related.

That is all you got. You just want to post your daily rubbish. You get the point. It counters all the nonesense you want to speculate about. I believe what Conte said in front the camera, not some keyboard expert thumbing away at the same boring Levy and ENIC aged old rigorating talking points.

TBH mate I never really understand what you’re trying to say? Try posting it in English in the future.
If you believe that fairy story why Conte didn’t join us in the summer then you probably believe in the tooth fairy as well.

Conte, the defender giving has piece, but 9f course you find time to hit Levy
. It never cease. Conte for all those that listen or read his comments said, the passion and energy he puts into the job was exhausting and taking on a project like Spurs was not the best thing for him st the time. He said that not some source. Whether he was toeing tne line or being gracious is not concern of my. If I cannot trust what is coming from the principal then how can I trust him when something really goes wrong. Etched in t stone, anything Spurs accomplished with Conte will be inspite of Levy according to the daily beat downs and rightfully so. It will be too long in coming, but winning a trophy can never be to late. I will take for my 40 odd years of pain.

Of course any sane manager would have hire Conte in the first place instead of Nuno. But Levy likes inflicting pain doesn’t he, on us and on himself, all to try and save a few quid. He suffers from the malady of being tighter than a camels arse in a sandstorm.
