Gerrard might tempt out-of-favour Spurs man to leave England

By Bruce Grove -

Danny Murphy has tipped Dele Alli to make a move across the border to Rangers.

The Scottish side is currently one of the most in-form teams in Europe and Steven Gerrard is set to lead them to the league title, stopping Celtic from winning it for the tenth consecutive time.

Alli, on the other hand, has struggled for game time at Tottenham and he hasn’t started in the league since the opening day of the season.

He is now being used as a substitute in the league and he is set to miss out on the Euros next year.

PSG and Everton have been linked with a move for the former MK Dons man, but Murphy feels that he might be able to get his career back on track at Rangers.

He said that Alli will get more playing time, score lots of goals and even impress Gareth Southgate ahead of the next Euros.

He told talkSPORT via Sun Sport: “I’m not sure Dele would be up for it, but I thought maybe Stevie G at Rangers could persuade him to go there and win him the title.

“He’d play every week, score a lot of goals, get his confidence up and impress Gareth Southgate.

“There is an argument to say would that be enough scoring at that level, because it is a drop down. But I don’t know.

“Maybe playing under Stevie is something that he would enjoy.”

Dont be so Dramatic David . 3 Points against Leicester is as important for the players State of Mind as the 3 Points are to the Table. I hope that I am wrong , but once more we have given Liverpool a ‘Leg Up’, and it will be interesting seeing their performance away to Palace .

Title dreams would be over with over 60 points left to get with us a few points off top? If you say so
