Tottenham Twitter went into meltdown last night when the news broke through of Christian Eriksen scoring direct from a corner for Inter Milan.
The Dane didn’t beat the first man in his final three years at Spurs and yet someone managed the impossible in Inter’s Coppa Italia tie with Napoli.
But the truth is…the corner was still awful! Watch for yourself below.

The corner, as per normal with Eriksen, shouldn’t even have got beyond the near post! The Napoli defender ducked under it, and then former Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina does what he does best – dives over the ball!
It’s just reassuring that football isn’t broken and Eriksen’s corners are still pants.
