Tottenham Hotspur is on the verge of saying goodbye to their club-record signing Tanguy Ndombele. After speculation of possibly heading to his hometown to join Paris Saint-Germain.
It seems as though the 25-year-old is returning to his former club Olympique Lyonnais, and the Daily Mail reports that Ndombele has already touched down in France, ready to sign his loan agreement.
Following the departure of Bruno Guimaraes to Newcastle United for £33-million, Lyon then asked about the possibility of signing Ndombele.
It didn’t take long for the two sides to work out a deal that is expected to finalize terms with the potential for a buy option in the loan agreement.
Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano states a few details are missing for the deal to become official. There are no further details on what will be the price on the option to buy or if Lyon is assuming 100-percent of Ndombele’s wages or if both clubs will share it.
In fairness not getting game time at Juventus isnt the same as buying folk off the street on the basis of potential… When Conte walks? Paratichi wont be too far behind..
Desperation.com. We sell nobody, and buy lads that can’t get game time at their own clubs. It’s depressing.
I believe Lyon is well stocked with McDonanlds so perhaps they can line him up with happy meals.
Tbh it’s likely a step in the right direction… atm most of our midfield either cant pass the ball forwards or dont have the energy to play 90 mins.. paratichinis supposed to know the Italian market inside out… he hasnt started too well with Gollini 😏
Probably also pssing his pants in laughter.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are reportedly on the verge of signing two players from Juventus. Danny Rose is googling them as we speak.
