Danny Rose running out of time if he wants to play football this season

By Bruce Grove -

Mail Online reports that Danny Rose might not play competitive football again this year unless he moves to the Championship before the domestic transfer window closes in six days.

This is because the England international is set to be left out of Jose Mourinho’s team for the season.

Spurs already have two senior left-backs in Ben Davies and Sergio Reguilon whom they signed this summer from Real Madrid.

Rose fell out with Mourinho earlier in the year and he was sent out on loan to Newcastle for the remainder of last season.

He remains out of the picture and he was unfortunate not to get a move away from the club in the last transfer window.

He still has the option of joining another English team between now and the end of the domestic transfer window.

The report claims that Mourinho will leave him out of his squad for the Premier League and Europa League.

This means that he will not play any competitive football if he remains at the club until the January transfer window at the very least.

Rose was once considered one of the best left-backs in the world and it is sad that he is in this current situation.
