Daniel Levy’s stance on Harry Kane’s future revealed

By Bruce Grove -

Daniel Levy is ready to fight to keep Harry Kane at Spurs for another season despite his demands to leave.

Kane has asked the club to sell him after another campaign in which Spurs failed to pick up any silverware.

Tottenham couldn’t even finish inside the top four despite starting the campaign with Jose Mourinho as the manager.

They finished the season with Ryan Mason as their interim boss, but it was always going to be the case that the former midfielder would be replaced in the summer.

The Lilywhites would be keen to get a manager that will finally help them win a trophy, but it remains unclear if that would be enough to stop Kane from leaving.

The Englishman would be a valuable asset to the club’s next manager and Spurs hope he will agree to stay for another campaign.

The Guardian reports that one thing that is certain is that Levy has made it clear internally that he has no plans to sell Kane this summer.

This would be a boost to any incoming manager and their fanbase, but they have to pray that Kane doesn’t turn in a transfer request because that would make this a little more complicated than they would want.

I think most Spurs fans take Spurs linked with players xyz with a large pinch of salt.

Just being realistic. Yes if I’m selfish I’d like Kane to stay forever, but unlike the person who marked me down I’m not self centered and want what is best for the lad too.

Just wait till this afternoon. Oh it is afternoon already. Lol being in the states messes me up. Anyway. There will be another story with no quotes surfacing here or on some other blog. Do u know how many player are linked to Spurs now? The messy truth is, all the players linked to Spurs by these same bloggers are not being chased by any top club, yet when the club acquire these mediocrity we end up complaining about these same players for the price that ended up at Spurs.

He might get one more season out of him if he brings in a decent manager, then that’s probably it. Kane has been abused long enough and needs to go to a normal club where he can pick up trophies.

It should be the incoming manager’s decision..but I’m of the view the whole team needs an overall..and if selling Kane is the only way to achieve it so be it.
That’s why a decent director of football is just as important..

Hardly likely Levy is running round saying he is willing to sell Kane.
