Daniel Levy is determined to land Milan Skriniar for Jose Mourinho before this transfer window closes, reports Mail Online.
The defender has been on the radar of Mourinho since the Portuguese manager was the coach of Manchester United and it seems that he may finally get his man.
Although Spurs have had a fine summer transfer window, Mourinho insists that he is still looking to have a more balanced squad at the moment.
Skriniar has fallen down the pecking order at Inter Milan and he is no longer a regular starter for Antonio Conte’s men.
The Italians still want £46m for the Slovakian, but Levy is looking to drive down that asking fee and land the centre back.
Inter Milan will likely sell because they need money to make another attempt to sign Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante.
Spurs have lost Jan Vertonghen this summer which makes their need for a new centre back even more important, but they need to also offload some of their unwanted players.
Danny Rose, Serge Aurier and Juan Foyth have all been made available for transfers this summer and the club is waiting for the right offers to sell all of them.
A centre-forward is another player that is expected to join the club before the end of this transfer window.

both
Previous windows this would be giving off the whiff of the ‘….now if we’re really serious’ transfer that might just elude us.
The Dybala.
Really hope this one gets over the line, with the other deals we’ve already completed this will be a game changer more than a reserve striker – another signing straight into the starting 11 in a weak spot.
I’d probably take a Troy Deeney loan if this one gets done ;D
They won’t get enough off Levy to go out and buy Kante of Chelsea some reports of Sissoko being an alternative. This could work for both parties. Then on to signing Milik.
If they don’t want Foyth as part of the deal, offer them Danny Rose!!
Get it did Daniel mate.
