Daniel Levy and Jose Mourinho have already discussed transfer plans and they agree on these two players

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham seems to be in a good shape when it comes to an agreement between Jose Mourinho and Daniel Levy over summer transfers.

The Portuguese coach became Tottenham’s manager last year after Mauricio Pochettino was fired for a poor start to the season.

He has been using mostly the players that were signed by other managers before his arrival, and he is expected to make some additions to his team when the transfer window reopens.

Two players seem to be heading to Spurs this summer with Mourinho and Levy in agreement over their transfers.

The Athletic claims that the Lilywhites will look to do a deal with Norwich City over the transfer of Max Aarons in the summer.

The young full-back has been one of the best players in the Canaries’ team, and he is expected to be sold if they don’t avoid relegation.

Another player who should be heading to Spurs, all things being equal, is Southampton’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg with Express Sports claiming that he is Spurs’ main summer target.

The Dane will be sold this summer after informing the Saints that he won’t be signing a new deal with them.

The Express also claims that Mourinho and Levy have already discussed their transfer plans and while they are in agreement on incomings, they still need to agree which players have to be sold to fund their summer acquisitions.

A lot do though, that’s what Levy relies on, fans with a loser mentality…

As a Tottenham nut and fervent fan myself I want to believe in my team and club and still do But the same pattern is being repeated season after season without any real success. I want our chairman to show real ambition now with the team like he has with the ground. Top season ticket prices should be rewarded with top players to watch . You can’t have one without the other, not for long anyway as fans won’t stomach it . TTID 👍

Predictable, Levy raids every relegation team going, cheap buys . Bargain basement shopping season after season . I actually think Levy deliberately stifles the team at that point where they are on the verge of winning silverware so that he can start his money spinning project again and again. Con man !

Like was said on here the other day a clearing is needed to give José a team for next year. Not that I think Jose can still be top dog but we are stuck with him. Sell if possible the seven and bring in starting at the defence and the holding player we badly need.

Kane might want out anyway and we have the perfect storm for Levy to cash in on his prize asset.

Having watched all of Norwich’s games since the restart I think Lewis is the better bet as a FB.However they both have work to do to be top players.
If we have to go to the bargain basement, which is what Norwich are, then I would go for Cantwell and Godfrey, although he’s probably not big enough in Mourinho’s mind.

Aarons looks to be a bonzo in the making. Can run fast has some skill but poor at defending. He will fit in well.

My yousef atal dream is over (for now) at right back, so max arons who has a lot to learn will have to do. I hope his brain is as fast as his feet. The Dane will be good. They won’t be the only two coming in I reckon. COYS

Watched Aarons again today, cant say I’m impressed yet, cant defend but that doesn’t matter , but he can run fast which is all that matters.

Aarons and Hojbjerg… hardly rumors we haven’t heard before. They both look decent but nothing to get excited about.

ENIC OUT.
