‘Betting all his chips’ – Club chief expects a bid from Tottenham for £32M talent

By Eddie Razo -

The backline is of high priority for Tottenham Hotspur this summer as they look for a central defender to put alongside Cristian Romero and Eric Dier in the three-at-the-back system. There are various names, including Torino FC’s Gleison Bremer.

According to SportMediaSet the belief is that Tottenham ‘will soon present an offer to Torino’ for the Brazil international. The Italian club’s president is ‘betting all his chips’ on the Premier League side coming forward with a bid, but further information on the sum they’ll put forth.

However, there is a hurdle in this pursuit as Bremer would prefer Inter Milan, but there is no agreement with Torino at the moment between the two parties. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see how Spurs convince the center-back to consider their offer.

Torino wants to cash in on the defender, a hot commodity among the big clubs across Europe; it will be all about meeting their asking price. Transfermarkt puts Bremer’s transfer value at £32 million.

Agree, never seen anything about Richarlison being a disruptive presence in the dressing room, quite the opposite… teammates said to like him. Sort of the ol “he may be a diving pr*ck, but he’s OUR diving @#$&!” thing.

Richarlison as an opposing player might be a prick on the pitch. This is the first time anywhere he is cast as a bad person. Everton has zero value elsewhere so they hoping Chelsea shift their focus and come get him. They as reported if true wants to pocket $40m instead after Watford cut. He is not worth 35M hence the issue. Why not hit then where they are Vulnerable and take their asset. Remember that is how Romero and Locelso came to Spurs as the club gets their evaluation, but in loan to buy deals cutting out the add ons and fee to the parent club. Levy 101.

take A back seat, seems more he was following his usual behaviour of not doing much in may and June (probably July as well)

Methinks that the rumour that Levy was taking a back seat in transfer negotiations were greatly exaggerated. I have little time for Richarlison who is a constant diver, whinger and a reportedly bad influence in the dressing room , but his valuation is absurd compared to Jesus or Sterling. I hope Kenwright was paying, the prices at Scotts would have made Levy’s eyes water.

There is so little of anything positive written about Lenglet that you have to assume it is all about his current shirt .

I see Botman is in Newcastle for a medical.
The pool of top CBs is dwindling time to pull the rabbit out of the hat.

We’re Spurs Supporters.. We’re fully use to not buying who the supporters want. It’s just horrible the fact we are always linked with the best players at the beginning, Bastoni and Martinez this time around. and now it seems we are going after the likes of Clement Langlet and Ricarlison who could barely keep Everton from going down. That would be a dreadful move (Lenglet). He is dead wood walking as far as I’m concerned!

Pro-tip; don’t ask me anything, and then the chances of anyone bursting into tears will notably decrease. Or not. Who knows?
