The 23-year-old winger has the chance to make Tottenham history against West Ham United on Tuesday by becoming our first player ever to score in his first four Premier League home games for the club.
And he made it three in a row in style, with a magnificent solo effort which saw him burst through three Manchester United defenders and score the first goal of Spurs’ comeback match, with a little help from David de Gea.

The only other man to bag in his first three home Premier League games for Spurs was Rafael van der Vaart back in 2010. If Bergwijn goes on to be half the player that his Dutch compatriot was then he’ll do just fine for us.
