“A massive resurgence from him’ – Pundit believes Harry Winks can revive his career under Antonio Conte

By Eddie Razo -

Tottenham Hotspur wants to improve their attack, and with manager Antonio Conte at the helm, he’ll look towards Serie A to help reinforce the squad. One player that the north London-based club has its eyes on is AS Roma’s Nicolò Zaniolo.

According to Calciomercato, Tottenham is joining Manchester United and Juventus, who have inquired over the Roma attacker. Zaniolo is under contract and is in no position where they need to sell the 22-year-old.

Furthermore, Roma finds itself in a fight for a UEFA Champions League spot for next season. Nonetheless, the Italian media outlet states that Zaniolo’s recent form and exclusion from a match plant the seeds for a possible departure.

Tottenham wants a forward that will compliment Harry Kane and Son Heung-min as they look to improve their goals this season. Conte’s squad sits in the bottom five with 11 goals tallied thus far.

Whether it’s Zaniolo or someone else, improving their forward group should be a top priority for the club.

An in form Harry Winks still isn’t a very good player!!

Think he’s fifth choice at best to play in starting 11 even with our current squad.

It’s a clean slate for the players, more than one or two have let themselves and the club down albeit not helped by the all management disruption. A chance to redeem themselves, last chance saloon, call it what you will…
