Inter Milan remains keen on signing Tanguy Ndombele this summer, but Spurs are still making it hard for the Italians.
Ndombele joined Spurs from Lyon last summer for a record transfer fee.
The Frenchman was expected to help Spurs become even better and build on their reaching the 2018/19 Champions League final.
But his performances for the club is his debut season have been disappointing and he has been nothing but an inspirational addition to the team.
Just a season after joining the Lilywhites, he is wanted by Inter Milan, the Italians are being encouraged to move for him because of his strained relationship with Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese manager will be happy to sell him, but Daniel Levy cannot accept that the Frenchman has been a bad buy.
Inter Milan remain keen because they see him as the best alternative to Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante.
Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that the Italians have known for some time now that Ndombele will be allowed to leave Spurs this summer for the right price.
It claims that Spurs will listen to offers for the midfielder if a team offers more than 50 million euros.
That is not what we have been lead to believe with multiple reports (Football Insider) claiming that Levy has no intention to sell. If this is true then it could be a game-changer.

If only Ndombelly did have roses attitude and mentality.. Then we would have a player… This guy hasn’t developed anything at all, he’s had one or two good games and spent the majority of the season jogging and walking and moping around. Or sat on the bench. Or one of multiple injuries, it is astonishing anyone is defending him at this point…. Any snowflake who plays without total conviction will get injured. Go half hearted into tackles you more likely to get injured.. Putting Ndombenchy on a pedestal above Rose who has been a top player for us for nearly a decade has left me scratching my head sir.
Let him go and sit on their bench alongside tintin.. 50 million and 200k a week would give Maureen one or two players he actually wants.
Agent Orange stating that there is some really bad news re our record signing. Very bad indeed.
He cannot name his sauce obvs. but he insists it is very worrying for the club.
I could have a good guess but would not put it up on an open forum/
Or if city would just cook the books a bit more and buy Messi. Give barca some money to spend. Could you see levys eyes light up
Roma.
If N’dombele is developing a Adebayor/Rose type attitude- Levy/Mourinho will move him out. Otherwise, he still has a developable potential and is young enough to be converted to a valued contributor. So sad to see young footballers have their brief careers undermined and shortened by attitudes (often induced by agents, hangers-on and “friends”) I call it the “Balotelli syndrone”. Football careers are brief windows to “set one up” for life. A shame to see so many opportunities wasted.
Doubt Levy would sell at a loss, he wouldn’t give you the steam…….etc.
I wonder if Napoli moved on Zaniolo price, if Levy would do the same with Ndombele
