Tottenham Hotspur needed just 13 minutes to draw level against Galatasaray as Will Lankshear scored his first-ever senior goal for the club.
Galatasaray took an early lead in Istanbul thanks to a stunning strike from Turkey international Yunus Akgun.
A period of Galatasaray pressure followed but Spurs weathered the storm and soon found their response.
Son Heung-min got his side going with a driving ball forward before a loose ball was picked up by young full-back Archie Gray.
The former Leeds United man played a beautiful switched pass to Ben Johnson on the right side of the Galatasaray box.
Johnson needed just one touch to square to Lankshear, who applied a simple first-time finish for his first senior Spurs goal following a record of 31 goals in 41 games for the Lilywhites across various youth levels.
