“What a kick in the teeth” Pundit Sympathizes With What Harry Kane Heard

By The Boy -

You can understand why Ryan Mason has been gifted the interim Spurs job. How anyone can claim Tottenham is a poor relation to any Premier League side and keep a straight face is beyond me. Deloitte money-making rankings are paraded one week, and the next the Penury Myth is wheeled out.

The closer one looks at Harry Kane’s situation, the stranger it is that the boy didn’t leave some good time ago. Darren Gough isn’t the world’s most insightful pundit, but then this isn’t a complex situation…

Your baloney, if you check your facts all the owners of PSG, MAN CITY AND CHELSEA have put in millions in these clubs, spurs owners on the other hand have put us 500 million in debt because we overspent on the ground, how much millions of there OWN money have levy and Co spent on spurs. Zero. Just check. net spending on players these last 5 years…..we are one of the worst spenders. We have to sell to buy.

Man U & Liverpool are most definitely businesses.. I think the point you’ve missed is that it’s possible to be a business and a successful football team. Spurs have failed miserably beause Levy & Hitchen are shit at footblling decisions. We really needa D.O.F. who can take side of the footballing side of things. Ralph Rangnck is probably a good start.

Kane- yes. Son- loses the ball too much. Tangy- fun to watch but in the end not much result. PEH- looks drained. Reggie – same. Toby- too slow. Hugo- should have been aent off. Dele- too slow. The others? I think Dier and Winks might be the 2 worst players in the prem right now.

It seems that every club that does well is first and foremost a FOOTBALL CLUB. You can look at PSG, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man City, Chelsea. All these teams are run as a footballing club, Spurs on the other hand is run as a business and as a business it is expected to pay its board and owners a healthy dividend. As long as the club is in the black by the end of the financial year they are happy, meanwhile as fans we pay £60 plus pounds to watch our beloved team taken apart. We the fans care about the football, the board care about the profit and never the twain shall meet. Good luck and best wishes to any player who moves on in the summer because Spurs won’t do anything until we get new owners.

It hurts so much to support this team. We will finish 9th and both the east London chavs and south London Gypsie’s will be dancing in the streets. Please reinstate the ESL because we need no relegation status Quick!

Commercial viability? What, with the ‘best stadium in world football’?

I though that was the whole point of the flipping place, or are you going to attempt to educate us ‘anarchists’ about that too?

What’s your solution? Oh, you don’t have one? Nobody made you come on here, unless you’re on ENIC’s payroll too?

Eighth wealthiest club

My solution would be new owners, like Fenway, like the people that own Leicester, people that have a clear understanding that success in the sporting arena for ‘sports brand’ is actually key to everything. Not secondary and none of this “oh wouldn’t it be nice if we win something?” rubbish.

As HH says in his vlog, ENIC are quite happy to trumpet our position in Deloitte’s richest clubs league, because that’s their measure of success. The football is completely and utterly secondary to that.

‘Football ebbs and flows’ ok fair point but one League Cup in 22 years is not an example of either ‘ebb’ or ‘flow’. It’s an example of complete failure for a club who are the what, either wealthiest in the world or whatever?

I and others are ‘anarchists’ because we aren’t happy with these clowns running the club I love? Get over yourself…

Lowballing for Grealish… Another one to add to Levy’s shameful list of micromanaging disasters…

Kane, Son, Tangy, PEH, Reggie, Toby, Hugo, Dele all have great ability. We just aren’t playing as an effective unit and haven’t been for over two years…

I have no expectations other than to be completely underwhelmed, as I have been for the last 22 years…

The sad part about today was that this debacle was more due to lack of ability than lack of effort, despite the effort being poor, especially in the first half.

listen my friend, keep thinking the thought… but when you have to pay 60 sheets a brief to watch that… frankly … fraud…. then why bother ?

And what do you expect from THFC ? What’s your expectations based on History and Commercial viability ?

Look at the bright side, a new manager who probably isn’t as good as the two previous ones to come in, probably a DOF and a raft of bargain buys with the Kane money.

Nobody had heard of Vlad Chiriches or Nacer Chadli before we bought them, expect the same fare…
