Tottenham fans have continued to shower love and affection on their summer signing Emerson Royal as he prepares for a Premier League adventure with them.

The Brazilian made a late move from Barcelona to London in this summer’s transfer window.

Spurs had Serge Aurier, Japhet Tanganga and Matt Doherty as right-back options.

However, they still brought in Emerson as they considered him a better alternative to some of their options.

His transfer to London means he has changed clubs twice this summer because he only just moved to Barca from Real Betis who had co-owned him with the Catalans.

Spurs fans are tired of the likes of Doherty and Aurier who have looked so bad at times in the last year and they hope that Emerson will be an upgrade.
